Any difference for copyright infringement???

Hi guys,
I just read the threat about the copyright infringement of TV series streaming in US and I was wondering if someone knew any difference between US and Canada??? I do not want to infringe any laws and just wanted to know if there was any possibilities in Canada.

You don't want to infringe on any laws but you want to stream media you have no license to broadcast or right to offer other people? Is this a serious question or are you just looking for some technical loop-hole to try and open a website that'll either get you fined thousands of dollars or imprisoned?
