"violation reports" on movie copyrights

This whole movie copyright stuff burns me up to begin with. Have you seen those ads where the stuntman tells you you're stealing from the people who make movies when you violate copyright? Well, most people who work on a movie make a set dollar amount. Very few people in moviemaking earn a percentage, mostly the big stars and the producers. It's sleazy and deceptive.

How can you run around condemning people when your ad campaign is based on false perceptions? I'm not going to go get a day care shut down so Ben Affleck can be sure to get another car. There are bigger battles to be fought. Stealing is always wrong, I know that, but the whole situation leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
